Duration

● Ground Segment: 8 hours.
● Flight Segment: 4 hours per pilot, performing 20 approaches per Pilot Flying, divided over 2 days.

EPA Certification

● Certificate: Issued to each crew upon course completion.

Recent Experience Type

Objective

To meet the RBAC 61.21 requirement, which mandates that a pilot must perform at least 3 takeoffs and 3 landings, either daytime or nighttime, in an aircraft of the same category and class/type within the last 90 days to act as pilot in command. For nighttime operations, takeoffs and landings must be performed during the nighttime period. These procedures may be conducted in an ANAC-qualified FSTD that represents the category of the aircraft to be flown.

● EMB-145 and variants
● EMB-120

Format

● Training in Full Flight Simulator

Duration

● Approximately 30 minutes per pilot

EPA Certification

● Completion certificate of the course
● Evaluation form signed by an Accredited Examiner with recorded landings

Recent IFR Experience

Objective

To meet the requirement of RBAC 61.21(b)(2)(i), which stipulates that a pilot must have performed at least 6 instrument approach procedures in the category of the aircraft within the last 6 months to act as pilot in command on IFR flights. These procedures can be conducted in an ANAC-qualified FSTD that represents the category of the aircraft to be flown.
